Stade Brestois engages its partner clubs on the subject of ecology 🌱

Stade Brestois doesn't just shine in the league! While the club competes at the top of Ligue 1 and has already secured its place in next year's European Cup, it also shines in terms of its ecological and societal commitment. Here's a look at SB29's latest initiative!

It all began in mid-January, when the club played host to Montpellier on the 18th day of Ligue 1. That day, the club's players sported the Football Ecologie France logo on the sleeve of their shirts.

After the match won by Stade Brestois, the club put the shirts worn by the players up for sale on the MatchWornShirt platform, and donated the profits from the auction to the association.

But that's not all, as it was agreed at the time that the money raised would enable Football Ecologie France to organize Ecological Football Fresco workshops for the Stade Brestois' amateur partner clubs!

On Wednesday April 10, the Brest branch was mobilized at the Armoricaine center for a work session with Stade Brestois 29, followed by a Football Ecological Fresco workshop with several SB29 partner clubs.

With this scheme, Stade Brestois is involving its entire eco-system in environmental issues. In fact, this is one of the pillars of the "Bon Air de Brest" CSR program. Through this program, the club wishes to support the environmental commitment of its network of partner clubs, and thus take concrete action for its region.

By committing its partner clubs to the issue, Stade Brestois is taking a more than concrete action and raising awareness of environmental issues among a wider public than just its own club.

More workshops are on the way, always with a view to mobilizing the eco-system and the club's many supporters!
